How we handle your audit data

This tool is run by Hudutech Innovations LTD (“we”). This notice explains what we collect in the Business AI Audit, why, and the choices you have. Questions: info@hudutech.com.

What we collect

• Your audit answers: business profile, how your operations and workflows run, tools you use, and readiness and risk ratings.
• Contact details, only if you choose to unlock the full report or request a consultation: name, business email, optional phone, company and role.
• Usage events, such as “audit started” or “PDF downloaded”, used to improve the tool. They hold no names or contact details, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
• Security logs: limited technical data (such as IP address) to prevent abuse.

What we never ask for

Passwords, bank or card details, government ID numbers, or personal details of your customers or staff. Please don’t enter them in free-text answers.

How AI is used

AI is optional. With your consent, written workflow descriptions are sent to an AI provider to turn them into structured steps that you then review. AI may also write the report’s summary in plain language. Email addresses and phone numbers are automatically removed from text first. Scores, rankings and cost estimates are calculated by documented rules, not by AI. Your data is not used to train AI models: we use providers whose business terms exclude training on API data.

Why we use it

• To build your report (to provide the service you asked for).
• To contact you about your report and any consultation, if you agree on the form.
• To send occasional tips, only if you tick the separate marketing box.

How long we keep it

• Unfinished audits: 90 days after the last change.
• Reports and contact details: 730 days, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Anonymous usage events: 395 days.

Your choices

• Delete your report at any time from the report page.
• Ask us to delete everything linked to your email on the data request page.
• Ask for a copy or correction of your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@hudutech.com.
• If you are in Kenya you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC). Elsewhere, contact your local data protection authority.

Who can see it

Only authorised Hudutech staff, through a logged-in admin area that keeps an audit trail. Your report link works for anyone you share it with, so share it with care. We don’t sell your data.
